Tom Georgon

Tom has been painting and teaching for over 20 years. His paintings have won numerous awards in juried shows and hang in private collections in North America and Europe. In Tom's workshops, he chooses subjects from the current season to sensitize you to the beauty that nature is displaying. You can apply what you have learned to other paintings of the season.

Acrylics

If you want your paintings to dry quickly, consider acrylics! This polymer - based medium allows you to use many different techniques and achieve effects ranging from a watercolor-like luminosity to thick texture without toxic solvents.


Palette Knife Painting


Paint with a palette knife on stretched canvas. This technique forces you to simplify and can help you produce powerful paintings. It also tends to take less time than traditional “brush” painting. Use either oils or acrylics for this workshop.
