Love to work with layering of vibrant colors or want to learn how? Then join us in this six week course that will explore creating a foundation of watercolor pencil and then building of color pencil on top to create beautiful, rich tones and values.

This course will take you from sketches to a finished color drawing. Composition, basic color theory, shape, form, value, and texture will be explored. Subjects covered range from still life to landscape or you may select your own.

Thursdays:  2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

- Set of 12 Watercolor Pencils (Prismacolor preferable)
- Set of 12 Color Pencils (Prismacolor preferable – Lightfast)
- Graphite Pencils; 2H, HB, 2B
- Masking Tape
- Kneaded Eraser
- Sketch pad paper (9” x 12”)
- 140 lb Watercolor Paper – Cold Press (9” x 12” pad)
- Drawing Board/Masonite Board
