You can sign up for any of the classes by phone or e-mail. The class fees can be paid by cash in class, or check made out to Brush and Palette and mailed to P.O. Box 914, North Hampton, NH 03862.



Dustan Knight

is teaching a one day WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP, on Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Fee: $60. WORKSHOP DELAYED UNTIL JANUARY.

Come join Dustan's 5 week class, "From Drawing to Painting" Class date delayed until early January 2019. 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Fee: $130

This fun informative and 'no stress' art class will begin with some drawing insights and tips and develop into a painting class using water medium ( including watercolor, watercolor pencils and acrylic mediums) Each class will offer something new and Dustan will demonstrate a way of combining previous lessons into your creative expressions.

Dustan Knight will be teaching a 5 week class Finishing Them Up, Class date delayed until early January 2019. 12:30 - 2 p.m. Fee: $110.

This is a new idea for a class that invites any artist, whether in class or not, to come paint in the Brush and Palette studio and ‘finish up’ paintings and projects Dustan will be on hand and working with students individually to achieve their best personal results. This is a ‘set your own pace’ studio opportunity with a knowledgeable and generous professional artist on hand to help you succeed. All artist levels and materials are invited.

Dustan Knight is teaching a 5 week class in Exploring Abstraction in Acrylic, scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 9 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Fee: $130. This class is adding an additional 3 weeks, Nov. 20, 27 and Dec. 4. Each additional week is paid as you come and the weekly fee: is $30.

Have you always wanted to know how to paint abstractly? Don't miss this opportunity to learn how.

Dusty will simplify the concepts behind abstraction and each class will offer an approach to painting abstractly. Students will get a chance to try different styles and decide which feels most comfortable for them. This is a fun exploratory class - with an emphasis on finding your own abstract voice.

Robert Steedman

is teaching his 4 week WATERCOLOR class starting Tuesday, November 13, from 6 - 8 p.m., Fee: $80.

You will be learning how to control this very elusive medium through discussion, demonstration and painting. This course will take you from the sketch to the finished painting. Color mixing, composition, technique and materials will be explored and demonstrated.

Mary Vermeersch

Is offering her ONGOING OILS Mondays 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. ALSO Thursday 6 - 9 p.m. $20 per 3 hour session. Come on by! Each student works on their own project at their own pace with as much help as each requires.

Karen Blackwood

We are happy to announce, that Karen Blackwood will be teaching a 4 week Oil Painting class, The Essence of the Sea Workshop starting Tuesdays , April 2, 2019 through April 23rd, 2019, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Fee: $295.

Karen describes her workshop, The Essence of the Sea, this way, A successful painting is Alive! It evokes emotion and draws the viewer in! Find out what questions to ask to bring the wow factor to your work. This indoor class takes place at the Brush and Palette Art Center Tuesday mornings from 9am to 12pm.

Karen's workshop will aim to simplify the painting process through the use of a limited palette, larger design shapes and the use of the armature of the rectangle, a compositional device which helps guarantee a strong composition.
