Dustan Knight - From Drawing to Painting - Watercolor

This is a fun basics class to refresh the more experienced artist and introduce fundamental ideas about design, color, and different painting techniques.

Class begins with basics on drawing - how to choose the best composition, how to ’save space’ for the shapes and then how to start Loose and refine the drawing and then slips right into watercolor - which introduces basic color information and the fun of using simple watercolor techniques.

Materials are basic drawing materials - pencil, eraser, drawing paper and watercolor - paints, watercolor paper ( arches 140 lb) assorted brushes.
